I am accepting new piano students, children and adults. If you have always wanted to learn to read music and begin to play your favorite hymns or your favorite radio tunes, then this is where you want to start!

Private piano lessons definitely has its positive attributes and I wholeheartedly enjoy teaching one-on-one, but many enjoy taking lessons with a friend! Two friends, parent-child, grandparent-grandchild; it�s a fun way to learn!

In my studio I have two pianos with headphones; both are electric with 88-weighted keys, one Yamaha and one Roland. Each student will be provided headphones, so part of the lesson time will be one-on-one and part of it will be learning together.

I've been playing piano for the past 20 years and teaching for the past 15. My forte is teaching the beginner student and taking them to an intermediate level. The book used in beginning lessons is Bastien Piano for Adults, Level 1. (It has a green cover and is approximately $16.) For the much younger students, I have individual worksheets and songs we work on, however, we still use the Bastien book. Lessons will be structured but a lot of fun! Homework will be assigned and expected to be worked on in order to get the most out of the next session.

I do teach on weekends as well as weekdays. However, I have a strict 24 hour cancellation policy. It applies to me (the teacher) as well. :) Sometimes life throws us curve balls, but we need to be respectful of each others #1 resource, time. During the lesson, if the lesson is for a child, the parent is more than welcome to have a cup of tea at my kitchen table while reading a book, or head out and run a few errands.

Rates for a ONE-ON-ONE 1 hour lesson are:
1st lesson = $30
One lesson at a time = $40
5 Lessons = $175 (will expire 6 weeks from date of purchase)
10 Lessons = $300 (will expire 12 weeks from date of purchase)

Rates for a ONE-ON-ONE 30 min lesson are:
1st lesson = $18
One lesson at a time = $25
5 Lessons = $110 (will expire 6 weeks from date of purchase)
10 Lessons = $200 (will expire 12 weeks from date of purchase)

Rates for a 1 hour lesson WITH A FRIEND are:
1st lesson = $44
One lesson at a time = $60
5 Lessons = $262 (will expire 6 weeks from date of purchase)
10 Lessons = $450 (will expire 12 weeks from date of purchase)

Rates for a 30 min lesson WITH A FRIEND are:
1st lesson = $28
One lesson at a time = $38
5 Lessons = $166 (will expire 6 weeks from date of purchase)
10 Lessons = $300 (will expire 12 weeks from date of purchase)
